Squak Mountain

John's already posted about our hike to Squak Mountain, but I wanted to add my part here. The hike was fun, but what I really liked was that it was cold. I was actually surprised that John would want to go hiking when it was so cold because he's usually such a wimp when it comes to cold. Not only was there snow in some areas, but frozen puddles and weird muddy ice crystals like the picture above. I think they looked rad. The crystal ice columns in this picture are about four to five inches tall. We came across frozen sections of creeks and could walk on them. Correction, I could walk on them, but John's fat ass kept cracking the ice. Fuckin' hippies. It was a fun hike and it was fun to play with the ice. John's talking about doing another hike this next Sunday, but it is the day after Keg Day, so I am not sure if it is going to happen. We'll see.
